My Writing Services

TYPES OF WRITING

PRIVATE & PUBLIC SECTOR
My writing skills (see below) qualify me to gather and organize complex documents methodically and prepare well-presented materials for a range of purposes.

JOURNALISM
My journalism interests continue to focus on social and environmental justice issues, the arts, Indigneous peoples, media literacy and education. Further interests include: cultural diversity, filmmaking, psychology, spirituality, and particular mental and emotional health conditions.

NARRATIVE ESSAYS
My personal narrative, and non-fiction, writing other than journalism, intentionally is point-of-view and grounded in transformative learning. Such essays and stories, therefore, reflect honestly on life experiences that offer provocative insights to readers in regard to the larger human condition.

EDUCATIONAL WRITING (for organizations and agencies)
Although an advocate of holistic approaches, my responsibility is to apply critical thinking to explore different perspectives on requested topics. Readers then can reflect on the material and come to their own conclusions about what is problematic and/or beneficial for learners.

SCHOOL TEACHERS' KITS (for cultural institutions)
Given many years' experience among Indigenous people in North America, as well as other subject areas (see JOURNALISM), I am well-versed to research and write educational kits for school visits to museums, art galleries and other institutes that show educational displays.

CURRICULUM WRITING (for private institutes, training courses and community-based learning)
I have experience in preparing full-credit course curricula. Given my range of professional interests, and proven methodical practices to write well and teach, I can write curricula on particular topics in which my knowledge is grounded.

BOOKS
I am qualified to research and write educational texts on selected topics. As well, I intend to produce my own books, in future, based on topics related to my life's work and passions.

DOCUMENTARY FILM WRITING
Please refer to the My Filmmaking Experience service section to see the range of filmmaking tasks.
